4/4/07: New Mexico DSL Maintenance Advisory
Brainstorm Internet will
be performing a planned upgrade on our New Mexico
DSL network on Monday April 9th between 1pm and
1:30 pm. New Mexico DSL customers may experience a
service outage of up to 15 minutes during this maintenance.
This upgrade will increase service reliability to
our valued New Mexico DSL customers.
We
apologize in advance for the inconvenience of performing
this upgrade during business hours. Normally
we strive to perform such maintenance during non-business
hours however in this instance it is unavoidable.
In most cases your DSL modem should automatically
reconnect once the upgrade
is completed. If for any reason it does not, you may
need to power cycle your DSL modem to regain connectivity.
To do this, simply unplug the black power cord from
the back of your modem, wait 15 seconds then plug it
back in. The modem will normally take up to one minute
to synchronize with the network, at which time you
should be back online.
